Finnish Folk Songs

Pikku posteljooni, Little Postman, dates back to late 19thC. It tells a short story about a postman, or a post boy, who brings news and letters to people, happy about the joy on the receivers' faces. It was arranged for a school songbook, based on older folk tune. Finnish folk songs were originally based on alliteration, rhyming beginnings of words, but this song already has rhyming ends of verses.
